Great Eastern studio is located within walking distance to Liverpool Street train station and Old Street Tube station on Great Eastern Road. The studio offers regular monthly workshops on Chinese communication and cultural awareness as well as bi-monthly specialist seminars on specific Chinese sectors. Born of the collaboration of Yu Sun and Roy Graff, Great Eastern Studio is a unique venue dedicated to raising the level of knowledge and awareness among business people and professionals of how to negotiate, communicate and work with Chinese counterparts.
Yu Sun, Managing Director of Orient Business Consulting, is a cross-cultural trainer with a particular focus on Anglo-Chinese communications in business. Previously working with Shanghai government as a project manager, she has worked on many international projects between China and Britain. Yu provides a deep insight into the business processes of Chinese and what lies behind them.
Roy Graff, Managing Director of ChinaContact, and a Director of China Business Services, has made his career in travel and tourism business development with a strong emphasis on China. He has a deep understanding of China’s culture and business practices from academia, public and private sector work. He lived and worked in China’s two most vibrant cities, Shanghai and Beijing. Roy brings a unique prespective to the program as a fluent Mandarin speaker with practical experience of building business in China.
